CAIR is a Canadian non-profit organization dedicated to sponsoring and resettling refugees. Our mission is to Sponsor as many refugees as possible, ensuring their safe arrival and providing them with the necessary support to settle in Canada. We achieve this mission by mobilizing and working with the community to ensure that refugees coming to Canada have adequate living conditions and equal opportunities to thrive.
CAIR envisions a world where immigrants, refugees and all individuals seeking safety have a set of affirmative, vested rights and protections that guarantee them a secure pathway to reach a place where they can permanently live without fear.
CAIR values inclusion, welcoming, dignity, trust, and human kindness. These core values guide our actions and decisions, ensuring a culture that fosters collaboration, respect, and equality for all individuals.
Our Board strongly believes that refugees and immigrants bring immense strength to our communities, and we are dedicated to supporting and uplifting them. We believe in the power of diversity and firmly believe in the importance of including refugees and immigrant leaders in our decision-making processes.
Our Board of Directors bring together a diverse range of expertise in governance, finance, program development, and advocacy to ensure that every newcomer we sponsor finds a safe path to a new life in Canada.
